In 2022, foreign investments in Montenegro’s real estate sector exceeded €500 million, a clear indicator of the market’s attractiveness. This influx of investment is driving the construction of luxury properties, high-end resorts, and residential developments in prime areas.

 

The demand for high-quality properties has been further fueled by the increasing number of expatriates and retirees choosing Montenegro for its attractive living conditions. Many foreigners are purchasing homes in Montenegro under the “Golden Visa” program, which grants residency to those investing substantial sums in the country. The program has been a key catalyst in boosting foreign interest in Montenegro's real estate market.
